FAQ's

What size board do I need?
Simple “rule of thumb”…the taller you are and the more you weigh, and the less skill you have the larger the board you want! Generally speaking, larger sized boards provide more stability, while the smaller ones provide more maneuverability and are just all ‘round easier to handle. Height and weight being equal across gender, women as a rule of thumb can paddle shorter boards because their center of gravity is lower giving them naturally better balance regardless of skill level. There are no hard fast rules.  It’s all up to your own imagination!
Can I ride waves with this board?
The 10’6” yes – for thigh high gentle rollers…but we don’t recommend it. This is an “all rounder” board designed or flat water (lakes, bays, rivers, etc.).
So… I picked out my board, what else do I need?
At a minimum…a paddle and a leash! However, these boards are investments, and you want to consider protecting your investment with a good board bag.  Depending on your transportation, you might want to look at board racks and pads too.
